NordiCHI’14 experience in retrospect:

Conference theme 2014: Fun, Fast, Foundational

NordiCHI is the main Nordic forum for human-computer interaction research, with the conference proceedings published in ACM Digital Library. NordiCHI gathers together academics and practitioners to present and discuss challenges and achievements in human-computer interaction from diverse perspectives.

The 2014 conference theme “Fun, Fast, Foundational” applies both to the scientific content of the conference and to your visit to Helsinki.

In the program we had papers and presentations that address designing for positive experiences (such as fun), user-centred design in fast-paced agile development, as well as foundational theories and in-depth insight into the topics of the conference.

We offer you great social program to have some fun outside the conference sessions, fast wireless internet and swift moving between the conference center and hotel, as well as long enough breaks for discussions that form the foundation for future collaboration.
